Mme Roitfeld is essentially a very sassy  French fashion  expert/export. Her pedigree is superb a former editor of French Vogue, author and ever increasingly a style inspiration. She is looking back at us all from the dark side of sixty. She’s the beacon of light that’s going to steer us through the rocky times and have us all arrive at the party a little bit more fabulous and therefore a lot more confident. Carine Roitfeld styles herself in sharp sexy lines, with body highlighting shirts and sweaters, all of which provide unequivocal answers to ‘what shall I wear?’ and thanks to Uniqlo, pieces of La Roitfeld’s style vision are up for grabs at utterly un French fashion, prices.  themodeledit.com says yes please!

I’m being very succinct in this post as since I mentioned her previous collaboration with Uniqlo, I went, I purchased, I wear, and I’m running over hot coals to buy more.I also bought for my teenager daughters and now they are fluent in Roitfeld too. ‘Nuff said. I’ve featured key pieces from S/S 2016, which keep the faith, fine tuned, beautifully cut clothes.Of course the whole collection isn’t just black, there are jungly fronds and camouflage prints in their appropriate colours. My top tip for a grab it whilst it’s still there, are the tights. Super pretty and super sexy when seen emerging from her expertly tailored skirts. I’m being uber bossy by saying, bloody hell girls, I can’t put it plainer than this. You risk nothing, but there’s everything to gain.
