I am just about to start on my latest BC book, which is The Island by Victoria Hislop. Last month we had Perfume by Patrick Suskind, which I’d read when the whole world was reading it, 25 years ago. Did not love it’s dark and dank protagonist then, and would not have chosen to ever meet him again. Luckily for me, BBC 1 kindly showed the film, minutes after I came home with the book. Thank you sky planner , one click and the book was being acted out before me, minus the start, no matter, it all came back to me. Yes, still didn’t love the book. Anyhoo, I will let you know about this new novel as I go along.

During my career, as an international Fashion model, I have clocked up a few miles on the world’s catwalks, sat in the make up artist’s chair for hundreds of hours, and been teased, backcombed and groomed by hairdressers for the same number of hours.
