Exclusive Conscious H&M - 1

An outfit from this year’s Conscious Exclusive collection.

An outfit from the first designer collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld in 2004.

H+M Karl Lagerfeld collaboration, black lace dress, frills

My very own dress from that very first collaboration. We’ve seen some sights, heard some stuff and still we accept bookings together How great is that?

Materials include organic silk, hemp, recycled linen and Tencel blends, along with beads and rhinestones made from recycled glass and Denimite − a material made out of recycled worn-out denim, which H&M is the first fashion company to use.

Until you decide where your holiday will be this year, and in case you alight elsewhere than Paris, you could stroll down Boulevard Regent Street and promenade into H&M and voila, works of art in frock form. I was, I’m not gonna lie, shocked by this bijou little collection. No offence H&M, I just didn’t know you had it in you. Truly red carpet looks but upping the style situation. Beautifully serene and stylish clothes that will set you apart from the Bodycon brigade and still show your sexy. Cool, calm and chic. Above you can see a favourite dress which is a ‘Trompe L’oeil”  sensation. I photographed the back view which is on the left. How cool is that tassel  ? Totally “trick of the eye”

Mrs V couldn’t quite resist trying on the Kimono, and although things may appear differently  given the fluorescent trainers and all,  she hopes that everyone may think about buying this Kimono and either wearing as shown, over jeans etc or, with lace underneath, heels and a swish of red lips. It’s very versatile.

Unless you skip on down to a major H&M store I doubt whether you’ll be able to cop a feel of this dress  as it’s fairly major in the H&M price range . However, its definitely a Ballgown and as this category  tends to escalate a dress’s price no end, if you need one, and half like the slightly uncommunicative image that I’ve supplied, get you with your London hat on asap into H&M Regent Street, which is where I got myself in a frenzy for this fairly fab collection that has quietly nestled in on the high street. Btw, I’ve been wrastlin’ with H&M’S website/’s ( believe me, there are all kinds of variations on a theme of…) and I can’t get a UK price tag to link in with these images. No hysterics necessary though, as this collection is in store, it does exist and I have given a link to the entire collection’s images- see top of this post. After that its every man for themselves.

Also, whether you are intending to be a bride, the mother of the bride or just a guest at the wedding, this is a works outing affair for you guys;  The brand’s new 2016 Conscious Exclusive Collection includes three sustainably made wedding dresses “for the bride wanting to be as beautifully dressed as she is conscious.”

There are many access points to this very chic, creative and super stylish collection. The only map you’ll need is, I suspect, the London Underground one.
